Works Offline – Muzima

mUzima application supports offline form entry, making it possible to be used in resource constrained settings without internet connectivity.
mUzima application provides crucial operations in workflow such as data collection, historical retrieval, authentication, security as well as access to already collected data in offline mode. This ensures users to have access to critical historical data along with essential features when making important clinical decisions in resource constrained areas.
Once the users regain internet connection, they will be able to upload the collected data to OpenMRS as well as download newly available OpenMRS data to mobile device.
mUzima users can also search for existing clients locally from device in offline mode which helps to reduce the chance for creating duplicate client records.
mUzima application provides dynamic customisable syncing options.
When internet connection is available, users can opt to use either real time sync feature which allows newly collected data from device to be synced to OpenMRS instantly or opt for syncing collected data on demand by tapping the upload button.
